Photographer - work in progress at Alvernia Studios

Maciej Zielinski is recording his music composed for the newest movie directed by Waldemar Krzystek. "Photographer" is a story of the boy named Kola. The storyline is based in the 70s. Kola lives with his parents in the Russian military unit in Poland. The boy does not speak in his own voice but voices of other people, which causes a lot of trouble for his parents. Kola is treated very badly by his environment, what eventually leads to the tragedy. Kola kills his father and ends up sent to psychiatric institution in Moscow. Years go by and Kola returns to his homeland as a Photographer. He seeks revenge for the wrongs of the past. Background story is the reality of the Russian troops stationing in Poland associated with the FSB investigation on "Photographer".

Music written for the film is a very peculiar mixture of acoustics and electronics, sophisticated avant-garde sounds and structures. The list of Artists taking part in the recording includes: string orchestra "Aukso" – led by Marek Moś, excellent accordion ensemble Motion Trio and distinguished soloists: Anna Sikorzak-Olek (harp) followed by Krzysztof Herdzin (piano). The recording process is supervised by Tadeusz Mieczkowski.
